小学老师，你妈介绍的老乡。条件摆在桌面上：她父母查房、编制、存款；她自己看你会不会过日子。A primary school teacher from your hometown, set up by your mom. The conditions are right there on the table: her parents check for an apartment, a stable state job, savings. She herself watches whether you know how to run a household.

独立书店店主。开口先问你最近在读什么。她最恨演：显摆、装懂、对服务员摆脸色，她一眼就看得出来。Owns an independent bookshop. The first thing she asks is what you're reading. She hates a performance: showing off, faking it, being rude to waiters. She can spot it at a glance.

主播。进门先找光线最好的位置。看你上不上镜、会不会接梗；无聊和看手机比她还多，是她的雷点。Livestreamer. The first thing she does is find the best light. She checks whether you're camera-friendly and can riff. Being boring, or on your phone more than she is, is her dealbreaker.

中学英语老师，晚上讲单口喜剧。幽默是唯一的门票；她会把你们之间的误会写成段子——先问你同不同意。A high school English teacher who does stand-up at night. Humor is the only ticket in. She'll turn your misunderstandings into material, but she'll ask you first.

百老汇的舞台监督，朋友 Sam 撮合的。守时到秒，像排提示表一样排约会；她最恨迟到和临时改计划。Broadway stage manager, set up by your friend Sam. Punctual to the second; she schedules a date like a cue sheet. She hates lateness and last-minute changes.

德国艺术研究生，说话非常直接。她会问你「你现在是在演吗」；客套话和假装懂艺术，都会被当场拆穿。A German art grad student who is extremely direct. She'll ask you, “Are you performing right now?” Pleasantries and pretending to understand art both get taken apart on the spot.
